My name is Kavita and I love the process of bringing emotions to life!

Hello and welcome to my website!

A published novelist, journalist, and abstract artist, I have been living on the US East Coast for 30+ years. I am a technologist by profession and have dabbled in art since high school, winning several awards in portraiture and still life along the way.

Over the last few years I have gravitated towards fluid art where the science of liquid, fire, air, and gravity are used with intentional abandon. I especially enjoy the challenge of enhancing my Fluid Art creations by optimizing shapes, movement, and colors to make my paintings sing!
